The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office caught a man rummaging through a stolen vehicle –
“On June 15, 2020, Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputy’s conducted a consensual contact of a suspicious person rummaging through a parked vehicle on Lawrence Avenue, in Yuba City.
The subject was later identified as 42-year-old, Yuba City resident, Mohammad Khan.
It was determined that Khan was on probation. Sutter County Deputy’s conducted a search of Khan’s person as well as a check of the vehicle Khan was rummaging through.
It was determined, through the deputy’s investigation that the plates on the car were stolen out of Marysville and the car was also stolen.
Khan was arrested for allegedly possession of stolen property. Khan was booked into the Sutter County Jail and later released due to the $0 bail. Great job to our Sutter County Deputy’s for being proactive.”
