Murrietta vehicle theft suspect jailed in Barstow

A stolen vehicle sighting was reported to Barstow Police Department Dispatch on June 3, 2020, at approximately 5:00 PM. Officers headed over to the area of the 2800 block of Lenwood Road.

The vehicle, described as a silver Chrysler 300, was located at the ARCO AM/PM fuel pumps. Detective-surveillance of the vehicle commenced.

“A female subject, later identified as Sabrina Marks, entered the stolen Chrysler and began driving away,” said Barstow PD. “Officers and Detectives conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the vehicle near El Polo Loco.”

The collaboration successfully placed Marks (34) under arrest on suspicion of vehicle theft. Later, it was discovered that Marks is currently on probation for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Her current ride, the Chrysler 300, was reported stolen from Murrieta, California and will be added to her rap sheet.

Marks will be booked at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Barstow Jail for PC 487(d)(1) – Theft of an Automobile.
