Earlier this May, Property Crimes detectives were made aware of an OnTrac employee suspected of stealing parcels.

OnTrac is a regional shipping company with a warehouse in Visalia who employed the 25-year old driver, Francisco “Daniel” Flores.

A suspicious amount of parcels, reported “delivered” by Flores, began to go missing in March. It was later confirmed, Flores was keeping the merchandise for himself.

Two search warrants were served on May 14, 2020 to two residences in Poplar, CA.

Detectives located over 250 stolen parcels, many of which had been opened. During the search, detectives learned a nearby residence contained additional stolen packages.

Indeed, they recovered 50 more parcels. The packages will be returned to OnTrac.
Flores was arrested for embezzlement and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trail Facility.
