On May 8, 2020, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a possibly child abuse case.
A video was posted to social media of a woman grabbing a young child by the hair and violently throwing him on a bed.
Detectives investigated and found 23-year old Tatyana Wilson of Poplar was going through a break-up with the father of the one year old child.
Wilson sent the video of her throwing the child to the father who then posted it online.
As deputies were being refused entry into Wilson’s home, she ran off with the baby.
She was located in Goshen 12 hours later and arrested. Child Welfare Services took custody of the baby.
Wilson was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trail Facility for child abuse. Her bail was set at $50,000.
