On May 8 the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a man involved in a break-in –

“Early this morning, Deputies from the San Carlos Police Bureau responded to a report of a commercial burglary at Imbert & Smithers, Inc., a retail store that sells firearms and related items. Deputies saw a broken glass door in the front and surrounded the building. They determined that the suspects were not able to get inside the store because of security bars.

While searching the area, Deputies located Blake Archibald and a 17-year old male. Video surveillance from Imbert & Smithers confirmed that Archibald and the juvenile suspect had broken through the front glass door of the business, failed to get past the security bars, and were not able to take any firearms or other items from the store. Archibald and the juvenile were arrested for burglary and conspiracy.

The juvenile was transported and booked into San Mateo County Youth Services Center, and Archibald was booked in the Maguire Correctional Facility.”
