San Mateo Police: Over two pounds of cocaine discovered during probation search

A San Mateo man has been arrested after allegedly being caught with two pounds of cocaine during a probation search.

According to a press release, police pulled over 38-year-old Steven Fisher in the area of South Norfolk Avenue and Fashion Island Boulevard around 10 PM on Friday, May 1, for allegedly failing to stop at a red light.

After learning Fisher was on searchable probation, officers searched his nearby home and reportedly turned up four boxes containing over two pounds of cocaine, a replica firearm, a loaded actual firearm, and a significant amount of cash.

Fisher has since been booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
