The abuse of trust for sexual purposes was revealed when Deputies Shelby Swanson and Alisha Rosa from the Yucaipa Station responded to a call on 04/21/2020 from the Riverside Police Department requesting assistance in locating a 14-year-old runaway juvenile. Investigation revealed that two Confidential females, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, ran away together.

“The 17-year-old later returned home,” said Deputies. “Investigation showed the 17-year-old engaged in sexual activities with Wyatt Mould, and Riverside officers believed the 14-year old was still with him and possibly being sexually abused by Mould at a residence in Yucaipa.”

“Deputies contacted Mould and the 14-year-old as they arrived at a residence on the 12200 block of 8th St.,” said Deputies. “Investigation revealed Mould had sexual intercourse with both minors, oral copulation with the 14-year-old and was in possession of nude photographs of the 14-year-old he had previously requested via a social media application.”

Mould was arrested and booked on the multiple felony and misdemeanor sex-crime charges against a minor, and is being held at Central Detention Center on $100,000 bail.
