22-year old Chelsea Peralta and 35-year old Jermaine Harris were located in a vehicle outside a house on the 600 block of West Lucille Avenue in Coalinga and detained while police officers and the DEA Tactical Diversion Squad served a search warrant at their home on April 15, 2020.

Hundreds of patient medical files from a local doctor’s office were recovered during the search along with a sizeable amount of hydrocodone pills, unauthorized prescription slips, packaging material, and other evidence supporting the pills were to be sold.

Peralta and Harris were arrested for narcotic charges. As they were being booked, 54-year old Hayley Peralta walked into the police department asking the confiscated property be returned to her. Hayley who also resided at the home, worked at the doctor’s office from which the files and hydrocodone originated. Hayley was subsequently arrested and cited with a court appearance.

The trio’s charges will be forwarded to the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office.
