“Another two shelter in place violators were arrested early this morning in Castroville, while driving around in a stolen vehicle.

Before the keen eyed Deputy could even get a cup of morning coffee, they spotted this stolen Acura Integra traveling south on Elkhorn Road. The driver of the vehicle attempted to eluded the Deputy by quickly pulling into a innocent persons driveway. But even without that coffee, the Deputy saw their maneuver and followed them in.

The driver, Salvador Garcia-Lozaro was also found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest, and passenger Carmen Hernandez had been on felony probation. Both were subsequently arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail, where they will have to shelter in place.”
