“The Sonora Police Department is looking for 41-year-old Wesley R. Dunn for questioning regarding an assault that occurred on Monday evening.

According to the 44-year-old male victim, Dunn struck the victim in the head with a crowbar near the 400 block of Stockton Road. It was reported to officers that Dunn drove past the victim in a white Toyota SUV, honked the horn at him then made a U-turn. That’s when Dunn reportedly exited the vehicle, struck the victim with a crowbar, and left the scene.

The victim told police that although he knows Dunn and has had prior “issues” with him, the assault was unprovoked. Fortunately, the victim wasn’t seriously injured in the attack.

If you see Dunn or know of his whereabouts, please call the Sonora Police Department at 209-532-8141.”
