AUBURN – The Walgreens on New Airport Road was the scene of a drug robbery on the evening of March 7th.

Two juveniles jumped the counter of the store and demanded the pharmacist open the safe containing prescription medications.

The two suspects got the drugs and ran out to an “waiting getaway car and driver” and the chase was on.

The fleeing car hit another car. One suspect was trapped inside, and was thrown out of the vehicle, and the driver got away.

The two injured juveniles “from neighboring counties” were first treated for their injuries.

The driver is described as “an African-American man aged 15-19 years old.”
