Sentences handed down in 2018 home invasion murder

GLENN COUNTY – This story started in Artois on March 16, 2018.

On that day, Gabriel Knecht and Christoval Roberto Mundo, as well as one other suspect, went to David Zucker’s home and, while there, Knecht shot and killed Zucker.

For that crime, 21-year-old Knecht was sentenced to life in prison without parole after being convicted on September 7, 2018 on charges of 1st degree premeditated murder. 19-year-old Mundo received 9 years in state prison after being convicted on October 19, 2018 of home invasion robbery

Alfonso Carillo, the other suspect, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter, use of a firearm and home invasion robbery, and sentenced to 17 years in state prison.
