Tulare County Sherrifs Department released this story on their official Facebook page about two people possibly connected to a recent home invasion are wanted in the Tulare County area –

“The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding 29-year-old Javier “Balls” Ibarra of Visalia and 19-year-old Roman “La Nina” Salcedo of Visalia, who have been identified as people of interest in a home invasion on February 4th in Lindsay.

Just after 10 p.m. on 2/4/2020, Deputies were called to the 22000 Block of Ave 256 in Lindsay for a shooting. When they arrived on scene, Deputies found a man who had been shot to death inside the home.

During their investigation, Detectives determined the man found dead inside the home had been shot by the homeowner during an attempted home invasion. The man, along with additional suspects, forced the front door open to the home while yelling “Sheriff’s Office”. The suspects pushed their way inside and that’s when the homeowner confronted the suspects.

The homeowner and suspects shot at each other. And, during that time, the suspect was shot and killed. No one inside the home, including a 13-year-old, was hurt.

This is still an active investigation. Evidence linking the people of interest will not be released. Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 559-733-6218.”
