Pair nabbed for parking garage car burglaries

NAPA – Auto burglaries have been occurring in various parking garages in downtown Napa.

The Napa Police Department, during an investigation into the burglaries, served a search warrant at a residence and arrested 20-year-old Deandre Bess and 23-year-old Joyce Armstrong.

Video surveillance caught images of the car used in the burglaries, and from this information the pair were identified and arrested.

For her part, Armstrong came to the Napa Police Department on February 6th, where she was arrested for auto burglary and conspiracy. She was booked, posted $10,000 in bail and was released.

On February 19, Bess was served the search warrant at his apartment that he shares with Armstrong in the 2000 block of Wisteria Avenue.

Bess was booked and held on a $51,000 bail.
