“This afternoon, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division along with the California Parole Apprehension Team and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Office of Correctional Safety Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested a wanted gang member on Harryette Drive in the City of Salinas.

36-year-old Salvador Rodriguez from Salinas was a wanted parolee. Rodriguez was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, prescription pills and a loaded firearm. Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on a parole violation along with several narcotics and firearms related charges.

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank our partners with the California Parole Apprehension Team and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Office of Correctional Safety Fugitive Apprehension Team.”
