Man Stabs Employer While Being Fired

The 42-year old owner of Yosemite Hemp Company on Friant Road came to a decision: he was letting go of his employee Jose Ramos.

Things did not go as planned. Fresno County Deputies were called to the store the evening of February 6, 2020 when during the firing, the 27-year old Ramos stabbed his employer in the back.

The brother of the stabbed man showed up and defended his brother, thoroughly beating up Ramos.

The stabbed victim was air lifted to the hospital while Ramos was transported via ambulance.

Deputies spoke with all involved parties. Due to him defending the victim, the brother was not arrested.

However, Ramos was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. As of the time of this writing he remains in custody at the Fresno County Jail with bail set at $55,000.
