Pizza Delivery Ex-Employee Sentenced for Stabbing His Supervisor to Death

LA PUENTE – Rafael Sanchez (32) of Baldwin Park was sentenced for murder on 01/15/2020, announced Los Angeles County Deputy District Attrney Eric Neff. The supervisor who ordered the defendant to do his job on March 10, 2018 was fatally stabbed in the neck and back by the disgruntled employee.

Sanchez had snuck up behind Daniel Anthony Sanchez (21) and killed the unrelated man with the same last name. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigated Case KA117570.

A jury found Rafael Sanchez of Baldwin Park guilty of one count of first-degree murder on 11/19/2019, and also found true an allegation that Sanchez used a knife in the killing.

The defendant was sentenced on 01/15/2020 to 26 years to life in state prison.
