A Solano County jury has convicted 58-year-old Johnny Bo Carabajal of three counts of luring a minor to commit a lewd or lascivious act.

Carabajal, who resides in an unincorporated area of Vacaville, was arrested during a traffic stop in Dixon following an eight-month investigation into allegations that he’d repeatedly tried to solicit two fifteen-year-old girls for sex, reportedly offering them money and cars.

Officials say there were three separate such incidents between January 2016 and December 2017, and that the two victims were friends with Carabajal’s own teenage daughters.

Carabajal is due back in court on Friday, January 17. Until then, he is remanded into custody and held without bail.
