Woman who appeared in first ‘Captain America’ film arrested in mother’s stabbing death

38-year-old Mollie Fitzgerald of Olathe, Kansas — who had a minor role in the first Captain America film — has been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of her mother, police say.

Patricia Fitzgerald was found stabbed to death in her Olathe home about 22 miles southwest of Kansas City on December 20.

Her daughter, Mollie, was arrested on New Year’s Eve on suspicion of second-degree murder.

According to NBC News and IMDb, Fitzgerald has appeared in a handful of short films and feature films, including a small role Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.
