Yoga studio thief arrested in Roseville

As reported by the Roseville Police Department :

“On Wednesday, 12/4 Roseville Police arrested Christopher Damon Newton (dob 7/10/1993) for identity theft and burglary.

He’s suspected of entering a yoga studio in the 1200 block of Baseline Road acting as if he wants to take a class. He then gains access to the patron’s personal belongings, stealing cash and credit cards. He then promptly goes to local stores and begins to spend, using the victims stolen cards.

Officers responded to the area and saw Newton leaving a store. A search of the suspect revealed the stolen cards and cash.

It was also determined he had five felony warrants for his arrest out of Walnut Creek, Berkeley, Belmont, Monterey County, and Livermore for similar incidents within yoga studios.”
