Salinas Police have arrested three individuals for weapons violations earlier this week.

On Monday, December 9, VSTF officers contacted several individuals smoking marijuana and drinking at a closed business park on Bunker Hill Way, one of whom threw an object into one of the parked vehicles next to them.

Officers searched the vehicle and found a .32 caliber revolver, which turned out to be registered to a deceased man from Vallejo.

Two of the individuals were arrested.

Officers also conducted a parole search on the under-100 block of Russell Road, during which they found a .22 caliber rifle in one of the parolee’s bedrooms, leading to another arrest.
