16-Year-old Male Arrested for Allegedly Burglarizing Home in Adelanto

A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested at his home for on suspicion of burglarizing electronics and other items from an Adelanto residence.

The victims reported the burglary to the Victor Valley Shariff’s Station at around 10:40 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, alleging that someone broke through their sliding patio door while they weren’t home, between the hours of 5 PM and 10 PM. Stolen items included a cell phone, computer equipment, televisions, and other items. The burglary took place at a residence located in the 18500 block of Laurie Lane.

Police investigation identified the juvenile male as the primary suspect. A search warrant was served at his home, located in the 19000 block of Panther Avenue, on Wednesday, December 4th. The San Bernardino County Juvenile Probation Department assisted in the investigation. The stolen cell phone was recovered during the search, but the other items have not yet been found.

The juvenile was arrested and booked at San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall. He is now on probation.
