Successful ‘Shop With a Cop’ Event in Salinas

The Salinas Police Department recently held a successful “Shop with a Cop” event and issued the following statement via their Official Facebook page.

“Shop with a Cop was a great Success!

Salinas PD officers, employees and volunteers were able to spend some time with amazing children from our community as part of Shop with a Cop Project this past weekend. Hopefully we made their holiday a little brighter. Santa and the elves were a big hit!

We would like to once again thank Target for their support and generous $5000 donation. Our appreciation also goes out to all the officers, explorers and volunteers who made this possible. THANK YOU ALL!”
