A Riverside man has been arrested in connection to two alleged incidents of sexual battery in the parking lot of a Target store in Corona.

Local police responded to the scene just after 4:30 PM on Sunday, November 24, where an adult woman reported that she’d been approached from behind and groped by a male subject while loading items into her vehicle. He had already fled prior to their arrival.

She described him as a heavy-set white male in his 20’s with long, curly red hair, and his vehicle as possibly a silver Ford Expedition.

Police say this was the second such incident at the same location, the previous occurring on October 28, and that the same man is suspected in both incidents.

The suspect was soon identified as 25-year-old Matthew Strazicich of Riverside. At around 8:45 AM on November 26, officers arrived at his home and took him into custody without incident.

He was booked at the Riverside County Jail on two misdemeanor counts.
