59-year-old Soquel resident Luis Ortiz was arrested on October 31st “on more than a dozen counts of sexual assault and lewd acts with a child.”
Apparently these crimes happened over the span of ten years “at various social occasions involving family and friends.”
Although three of the victims in these incidents have come forward, investigators believe there may still be more victims.
In the meantime, Ortiz sits in Santa Cruz County Main Jail with a million dollar bail.
