CORNING — Police have arrested a man for alleged drug activity after discovering evidence of narcotics sales in a storage unit he was renting.

On Friday, November 1, officers contacted Joseph Ure, who’s already on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for narcotics sales, searching both him and his storage unit.

At the storage unit, officers reportedly found methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia, as well as several hundred dollars in cash.

In light of this, the Tehama County Probation Department has authorized a revocation of Ure’s PRCS status and he is now housed at the Tehama County Jail.
