ARROYO GRANDE — Local police have announced the arrest of a wanted felon who led officers on a short pursuit late last month.

Officers initially attempted a traffic stop on Thursday, October 24, to make contact with 37-year-old Daniel Morin of Nipomo, who instead led them on a brief vehicle pursuit and then a foot pursuit.

He was ultimately arrested on the 1000 block of East Grand Avenue and booked on suspicion of felony evasion, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance for sale, in addition to the warrant.
