Word came in to the Wheatland Police Department on Wednesday October 9th about an incident involving a gun.

The information concerned 22-year-old Christian Rodriguez and his alleged brandishing of a firearm at someone else.

A WPD officer, after coming into contact with Rodriguez, arrested him for carrying a firearm in a vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a firearm.

The gun was confiscated and the young man was booked into Yuba County Jail.
