MADERA — A local man has been arrested on suspicion of DUI following a multi-car collision late last month.

Late on the night of Wednesday, September 25, Jesus Garcia-Pacheco (27) reportedly veered from his lane and struck two parked vehicles in the area of Yosemite Avenue and Mace Street.

The collision also caused one of the cars to collide with a fence and roll into the front yard of a residence.

Responding officers found Pacheco to be heavily intoxicated, with his blood-alcohol concentration testing at over three times the legal limit.

For some reason, Pacheco also mentioned to officers that this was his fourth DUI arrest.

Police say nobody was injured in the collision.
