STOCKTON — Four people have been arrested after a pursuit in Stockton earlier this week that ended with a collision and one patrol vehicle on fire.

Just before 5 PM on Sunday, September 22, police initiated a traffic stop in the area of MLK Boulevard and Hunter Street, to which the driver did not yield, thus kicking off a pursuit.

The driver ultimately ended up crashing into a fire hydrant near Charter Way and Stockton Street.

Police also say that, by the time the pursuit was over, a patrol vehicle had caught on fire. No injuries have been reported.

A search of the suspects’ vehicle turned up a loaded AK-47 and three loaded handguns.

Four suspects — John Roach (24), Noe Valadez (24), Jaime Valadez (26), and a 16-year-old juvenile — were all arrested for weapons and pursuit charges.
