Current Prison Inmate Arrested for 2018 Murder

23-year old Edward Elizondo of Parlier, was a current prison inmate serving time for a firearms conviction when Fresno County Sheriff homicide detectives approached him about a 2018 murder.

On the night of March 16th 2019  20-year old Jorge Reynosa was walking in the 13500 block of Tuolumne Street in the town of Parlier at which time, he had a run in with Elizondo resulting in multiple shots being fired and Parlier Police Officers being called to the scene. Reynosa was found lying in the driveway of one of the nearby Quail Run Apartments, deceased.

Elizondo now faces a murder charge in relation to the case. He is currently awaiting court proceedings at the Fresno County Jail.
