Search warrant turns up guns and drugs in Prunedale

PRUNEDALE — Two people were arrested after deputies confiscated numerous guns and drugs during the serving of a search warrant on Friday, September 6th.

Marijuana Enforcement Team and SWAT personnel arrived with a search warrant at a property on Mallory Canyon Road, where they discovered three rifles, a shotgun, a handgun, a crossbow, a large amount of ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and a plethora of illegal narcotics.

Two individuals — Brenden Jones (39) and Athena Miller (27) — were arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail.
