Salinas Police: Search warrant turns up guns, drugs, stolen trailer

SALINAS — Salinas Police have arrested five people and confiscated multiple weapons, drugs, and a stolen trailer after serving a search warrant on August 13th.

Officials served the warrant at a home on the 1000 block of Montana Street, during which someone reportedly threw a gun out one of the rear windows.

After the occupants were detained, police conducted a search and discovered a sawed-off shotgun, methamphetamine intended for sales, and a trailer parked in the driveway that turned out to be stolen.

The five occupants, two of whom are reportedly active gang members, were booked on charges including possession of meth for sale and felon in possession of a firearm.
