Search warrants lead to three burglary, theft arrests in Yolo County

YOLO COUNTY — The Yolo County Sheriff’s Department recently served  multiple search warrants that led to the arrests of three suspects in connection a string of thefts and burglaries throughout the county.

On August 9th, officials served warrants at two residences — one on the 400 block of West Street in Woodland, and another on the 33000 block of County Road 24 in unincorporated Yolo County.

The warrants led to the recovery of around $150,000 worth of stolen property, including vehicles, trailers, and farm equipment, as well as property from thefts reported out of Yolo County, Woodland, Davids, and Winters.

Arrested in connection to these crimes were William Cole (30) and Jorge Ramirez (53), both of Woodland, and Samantha Schonewise (25) of Davis, all on suspicion theft and possession of stolen property.
