YUBA CITY — Two people were arrested earlier this week after allegedly being caught with a gun and drugs near a high school.

Just after 3:30 PM on August 10th, a Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle near River Valley High School and ended up arresting Jose Romero (21) and Alicia Hernandez (19) on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of narcotics for sale.

Both were arraigned in court on August 13th.
