Man Arrested In Shooting That Injured Two Adults And Killed Their Dog

MODESTO – On the evening of July 21st, multiple suspects fired shots from their vehicle into another vehicle on Needham Street, striking a man, a woman and their dog.

The man only sustained minor injuries, however the dog died, and the female suffered major injuries. Modesto Police Department detectives investigated and determined that 21-year-old Tiante Winn was one of the suspects.

On July 24th during a traffic stop in Ceres at 5:00 p.m., officers located and arrested Winn for 12022.7 commission of a felony with great bodily injury, and 664/187 attempted murder

Then a search warrant was executed at a residence and “evidence surrounding the shooting was located.”

The investigation continues as detectives attempt to identify other suspects.
