Auto Burglary Suspect Arrested

MILPITAS – On June 7, 2019, the Milpitas Police Department received a call of what was described as multiple auto burglaries that occurred in a parking lot located on the 400 block of Barber Lane.

When officers arrived they successfully investigated multiple car break-ins and were able to use video surveillance to help compile a description of one suspect in the theft of multiple vehicles.

According to Milpitas Police Lieutenant John Torrez, “On July 18, 2019, Joseph Ronzelle Lane was identified as the driver of the suspect vehicle.”

The 23-year-old suspect was then traced back to his vehicle at a residence in San Francisco, where he was arrested.  Torrez said, “On July 30, 2019, Detectives arrested Lane in San Francisco and booked him into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for the warrant.”
