Human trafficking investigation results in two arrests

STOCKTON –  An investigation into human trafficking resulted in the arrest of two individuals by the Stockton Police Department’s Vice Unit.

26-year-old Paul Miller was arrested on July 1st and 27-year-old Joshua Tuimavave was arrested on July 16th. Both were arrested on charges of human trafficking of a juvenile, pimping and pandering.

Tuimavava was also arrested on the charge of unlawful intercourse with a minor.

The SPD is looking into the possibility that there are “other victims related to this case,” and adds, “If you have any information, we please ask that you contact the Stockton Police Department’s Vice Unit at (209) 937-8422.”
