LEMOORE – On June 5th a group of officers with the Lemoore Police Department, as well as neighboring agencies and some of the general public, gathered in the parking lot to the rear of the Lemore Police Department office.

An LPD chaplain was about to proceed to Hanford in a procession, beginning a journey across the country.  The chaplain was to be meeting with other police agencies for the purpose of “sharing information on the importance of mental health awareness in law enforcement.”

Suddenly a red SUV came speeding into the parking lot, made a u tern in the lot, and then sped up and sped away.

That is when a new procession began, as the suspect, Holly Blair, now led a police pursuit on West Cinnamon. Blair had a juvenile in the back seat of her SUV at the time.

The suspect did not comply but was nonetheless arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon, evading, reckless driving, child endangerment and resisting arrest.

Turns out Holly Blair is a Lemoore City Council member. She did not attend the June 18th  meeting.
