LOS OSOS – A burglary occurred on June 11 around 4:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Encinas Drive. A deputy with the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office responded  to the scene to discover that “a room had been ransacked and medications and money had been taken.”

Apparently a young male suspect had been “knocking on doors and acting suspicious.” One of neighbors in the area took a picture of the man and shared it on a neighborhood social media app.

Other deputies encountered a man matching the description from the photo on the 2100 block of Ferrell Avenue and began chasing him. They soon caught the suspect and arrest him.

23-year-old Ezra Nehemiah Hill was in possession of the stolen property from the Encinas Drive home.

Hill was booked into county jail for burglary, resisting arrest and probation violations.
