Two 18-year-olds arrested for two robberies

STOCKTON – In recent weeks, two Stockton area pharmacies were targeted by two robbers. First, on March 26th an armed robbery occurred at a pharmacy located in the 900 block of N. Yosemite Street.

Then, on April 3rd, an attempted robbery occurred at a pharmacy in the 2000 block of S. Mariposa Road, and during this incident shots were fired by the suspects. Later that same day, the Stockton Police Department arrested 18 year old Jose Raya of Stockton and 18 year old Anthony Morales, also of Stockton, for their role in these two crimes.

Both men now face a slew of felony charges and currently remain in custody the San Joaquin County Jail with their bail set at 1 million dollars. Raya and Morales are both set to return to court again on Monday April 22nd.

As detectives continue to investigate, they believe the duo are “responsible for additional robberies within the county and neighboring counties.”
