Quarter Pound of Meth Found During Probation Check

Two men have been arrested on April 2nd in Tulare County for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell. Tulare County Probation Officers pulled up to a Goshen home on Road 70 to conduct a probation compliance check.

Before the check began, they apprehended 51-year old Philip Easley who attempted to flee on foot from the home at the sight of the authorities. A second man, 37-year old Joshua Brock was also at the home and was detained while the search took place.

During the search, police found one quarter-pound of meth inside a bag. Detectives were called to the scene and they found items to support the drugs were going to be sold.

Both men were arrested at the scene. Easley faces charges of possession for sale of a controlled substance and purchase or receipt of a stolen vehicle. His bail is set at $225,000 and he remains at Bob Wiley’s Detention Facility.

Brock faces charges of sale of a controlled substance. His bail is set at $75,000 and he is in custody at Bob Wiley’s Detention Facility.
