CHICO – The Kohl’s store on Springfield Drive called the Chico Police Department on the afternoon of March 27th to report a shoplifting that had occurred.
The two suspects left in a vehicle before officers arrived. Upon their arrival, officers began looking for the getaway vehicle and soon stopped one that matched the description and detained its two inhabitants.
42-year-old Tom Martin and 41-year-old Andrea Arseniak were arrested. Aresniak was charged with shoplifting and possession of narcotics. Martin was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
