SAN JOSE – The San Jose Police Department has arrested a suspect who sexually assaulted four young teens. The suspect, 45-year-old Chioke Robinson, was taken into custody on Thursday February 21st while staying in San Francisco. Robinson works as an assistant track coach at San Francisco State.
Robinson has been charged with seven counts of oral copulation with a minor under 18 (felony) – 288(a)(b)(1) PC, 3 counts of sexual penetration with a minor (felony) – 289(h) PC, one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14 (felony) – 288(a) PC, three counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor 14 or 15 (felony) – 288(c)(1) PC, and one count of oral copulation with a minor under the age of 16 (felony) – 288(a)(b)(2) PC.
According to police, the sexual assaults occurred while Robinson was teaching the young teens while working as a track coach at Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose, Los Gatos High School, and as a club team coach in the San Jose area.
Reports of the abuse started to surface in January of this year.  The allegations began with two teens coming forward and then with word spreading as two more teens followed suit with allegations that Robinson also sexually assaulted them.
