CLEARLAKE – Just after midnight on February 10th the Clearlake Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 14000 block of Olympic Drive.
The officer who stopped the car noticed a glass pipe inside of it in plain view. Subsequently, 48-year-old Charles Pitre was then arrested and his car was searched.
A pound of methamphetamine was discovered in the car, as well as “packaging and other material indicative of the sale of meth.”
Pitre also had $2,000 on him. He was now faces charges for possession and transportation of meth for sale. His bail was set at $100,000.
