MOUNTAIN RANCH – The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for a home in the 9000 block of Wendell Road and served it on January 16th.
One man was located inside the house, as well as a large amount of marijuana.
An outbuilding on the property was serving as a venue for indoor marijuana cultivation.
583 marijuana plants were seized, as well a a commercial generator.
23-year-old Jose Fernandez-Zavala was arrested and booked on charges of maintaining a drug house, conspiracy, and illegal marijuana cultivation. His bail was set at $50,000.
