Killings Hand Man A Life In Prison

West Covina – Caminero Wang, 46, will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 50 years to life, for killing his parents-in-law in his West Covina home, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and Deputy District Attorney Kelsey McKeever-Unger announced.

On April 13th, 2016, Wang murdered Shu Zhang and Aiping Diao, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, at his home in the 1300 block of East Oahu Avenue. During the trial, evidence showed that the victims, both 60, were visiting from China, and that Wang had previously threatened their lives as well as his wife’s life.

On Oct. 1st, 2018, a jury found him guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in case KA112295, which was investigated by the West Covina Police Department, with a special circumstance allegation of multiple murders and special allegations of using a handgun which caused great bodily injury and death.
