Sisters arrested for Trafficking a 17-year-old female

ONTARIO – 44-year-old Sheila Hill and 40-year-old Stephanie Hill were arrested after an investigation into the human trafficking of a 17-year-old female victim.

The investigation followed an on-line ad connected to prostitution activity a local hotel. After additional investigation, law enforcement discovered the juvenile victim as they served a search warrant at an apartment complex in Highland.

While at the apartment, investigators encountered Stephanie and Sheila Hill.  All involved parties were taken to the Highland Police station for more questioning.

During the questioning, the juvenile was determined to be the victim of human trafficking. For their part, the Hill sisters were booked on charges of pimping, pandering and human trafficking of a minor.

They are being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.

The SBSD says, “This investigation is ongoing.
