Parent Arrested for Threatening to Shoot Son’s School

TULARE – A 37-year old man has been arrested for threatening to shoot up his son’s elementary school.

On November 7th, a witness alerted Woodville Elementary of Casey Crisler’s threat, prompting school officials to act immediately to lock down the school and call 911.

Tulare County Sheriff Detectives investigated the threat. Authorities have a zero tolerance policy for such threats.

Crisler was contacted by deputies and agreed to meet in Porterville. He was arrested without resistance and is in custody at the Porterville Sheriff Substation.
