Victorville man arrested for pizza delivery robbery

VICTORVILLE – Deputies arrested an 18-year-old Victorville man in connection with the September 25 armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

SBC sheriffs’ deputies arrested Jayveyon Louis Burley, 18, of Victorville on September 26 for allegedly robbing a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver at gunpoint on Sept. 25.

Deputies booked Burley at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bail. At the time of his arrest, police said Burley possessed the weapon used in the robbery. He also had a black mask and other evidence pertinent to the crime.

Sheriffs’ deputies said the victim of the robbery was delivering pizza on the 15100 block of Ivy Court in Adelanto on September 25. Then three black male adults approached and robbed him at gunpoint. The victim said his assailants stole an undisclosed amount of money and his car keys. Subsequently, authorities recovered the car keys. Furthermore, suspect’s did not steal the victim’s car.

Finally, San Bernardino sheriffs believe Burley may be responsible for several other armed robberies in the High Desert area. Even more, they are continuing to search for the other two men involved in the robbery.
